
Who is Sherwin Tewari
My name is Sherwin Tewari, I am 28 years old and I come from The Hague. In my free time (besides sports), I enjoy playing games with friends and family, I love watching movies and series, and when the weather in the Netherlands permits, I like being outdoors for a bike ride. I can also regularly be found in the kitchen in my free time cooking; I find Surinamese and Thai cuisine the tastiest, but you can also wake me up for a 'patatje oorlog' (fries with mayonnaise and onions) ;) In my youth, I did a lot of sports, including swimming, tennis, and boxing. If you had asked me back then what I wanted to be when I grew up, I never would have thought that I would end up in the sports industry as Personal Trainer would be employed.
Student life and RTL Boulevard
During my student days (I studied Media & Entertainment Management), I interned for six months at the television program RTL Boulevard. I really enjoyed that, but I still didn't see myself working in the television and media industry. During my studies, I was introduced to fitness training / strength training through my best friend, power supply and lifestyle, and I started finding that increasingly interesting from then on.
Further studies
After completing my higher professional education, I decided to take my career in a new direction. In 2016, I first started by taking a fitness training course to teach small (small group) classes. group training And I enjoyed that so much that I decided to continue my studies. I then completed the Fitness Trainer course and subsequently the Personal Trainer course. In addition to working as a Personal Trainer, I also work a few days a week at a large gym chain, and now also as a Personal Trainer at the HealthCoachPlus Personal Gym.
My personal motivation
My strength as a Personal Trainer lies in guiding people who want to lead a fitter, healthier body and life. I will help you find the right balance between training, nutrition, and lifestyle (sleep – managing your schedule – preventing stress – sufficient daily movement outside of sports etc.) that aligns with your objective(s) and also suits you as a person.
