About Tomas
I am Tomas van Rooijen, an avid gym-goer for years, and working in the fitness industry as a trainer since 2021. I have enjoyed working out enough since I was young that I could easily spend dozens of hours a week on it, but that isn't possible. After all, I am also a father, and I am happy if I have time to exercise twice a week alongside my work and being a dad. As a result, I have learned that with effective workouts, you don't need much time to achieve results, provided you complete your workouts in a focused manner and with the right knowledge.
Fascinated by strength training since I was 15
Even before I started fitness, I had always been involved in sports. Naturally, I have my A, B, and C swimming certificates, I did judo, breakdance, and played football. However, ever since I walked into a gym for the first time at the age of 15, I have been captivated by strength training. Teaching is something that has always appealed to me, and I wanted to combine that with my passion for training, knowledge of power supply and experience with mental health. So nine years after I first picked up a barbell, I decided to start a career in the fitness world, with the goal personal trainer / to become a lifestyle coach.

My mission is not only to help you achieve your goals, but also to teach you how to create a healthy balance between what you want to do because it’s fun and what you have to do for a strong body, a resilient mind, and a high-quality life.
