I had been training at RWIJK GYM for a while and follow the 1 x per week Personal Group training there. In the past, I boxed and did bootcamp there, and now I usually followed the Muscle Mania training sessions. I was very satisfied with this, but I still wanted something more and to adjust my goals. I wanted not only to become fitter, but also to look leaner and more muscular. After a good personal conversation with personal trainer Robert, I communicated these wishes and goals to him. After this, I decided to 1 x per week personal training to add to it.
Training vs Nutrition
After he had put together a suitable training schedule and a suitable nutrition plan for me, we got started. Training is one thing, but the right kind power supply is two... Because I track everything I eat in the RWIJK GYM food app, I have a clear overview of what I eat in a day and whether I am getting the right amount of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. All these things together give me good insight into whether, alongside my training, I am also making the right choices regarding my nutrition and am on the right track there as well.
Achieved results:
1st meeting (20-5-2021):
Starting weight: 82.8 kilos
Skeletal muscle mass: 39.6 kilograms
Fat mass: 12.4 kilos
Fat percentage: 14 %
2nd meeting (29-8-2021):
Starting weight: 81.7 kilos
Skeletal muscle mass: 42.2 kilograms
Fat mass: 7.7 kilos
Body fat percentage: 9.4 %
Is Personal Training recommended for everyone?
After 16 intense personal training sessions and having learned what the right nutritional choices are for me, I can confidently say that the results are already clearly visible. Not only have I gained more muscle mass and look a lot leaner (more toned), but my posture has also improved. This result would never have been achieved by only attending a personal group training session once or twice a week. I am now truly experiencing and seeing the benefits of training with a good personal trainer. I can recommend Personal Training at RWIJK GYM to anyone who wants to achieve their goals and is willing to put in the effort. Excellent guidance in a beautiful, professional training studio.
