Heerlijke zomerse Pasta Tonijn Salade!

Suitable for lunch, dinner, or a BBQ.

The carbohydrates and proteins provide good energy for the body. The salad is high in protein thanks to the tuna and cottage cheese. These amino acids are building blocks for the protein in the body's cells. Preparation is simple and takes about half an hour. By using cottage cheese as a dressing, the salad also contains very little fat. This recipe not only contains good nutrients, is easy to prepare, and is also incredibly tasty as a meal for lunch or dinner.   

Ingredients for 1 serving

  • 75 grams whole wheat fusilli
  • 100 grams of cottage cheese
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • 30 grams of arugula
  • 75 grams of tuna
  • 1 tbsp Italian Gran Padano
  • Quarter red onion

Preparation method:

  • Cook the pasta until al dente in 9-11 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cut the tomatoes and onion into pieces and mash the tuna into smaller pieces.
  • Drain the pasta and let it cool.
  • Rinse the arugula.
  • Mix the pasta, cottage cheese, tomatoes, red onion, arugula, and tuna in a bowl.
  • Finish with a tablespoon of Italian Grana Padano.
