
This delicious and quick-to-make dish (15 minutes) is another one to try! It's also fun to make with your children on Sunday and enjoy together as a weekend snack at the end of the afternoon 😊 Highly recommended if you like cake!
Ingredients for 1 cake (12 slices)
– 200 grams self-rising flour
– 100 grams applesauce 0% sugar added
– 3 eggs
– 100 grams liquid vegetable butter
– 2 tsp cinnamon
– pinch of salt
– 1 large apple or 2 to 3 small apples
– 50 grams of pecans
Preparation method:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a cake tin with baking paper.
2. Mix all the wet ingredients together in a bowl. Do the same with the dry ingredients in another bowl.
3. Combine the contents of both bowls and stir into a smooth batter.
4. Cut the apple into small pieces and finely chop the pecans. Fold the apple and nuts into the batter.
5. Pour the batter into the cake tin and bake for approximately 50-55 minutes. Check if the cake is done by inserting a toothpick.
