
Motivation and pitfalls
Often, the ultimate goal you are training for is (still) a distant prospect. Suppose, for example, that you want to lose 25 kilos. That requires a long period of time. Compare it to a walking tour from Amsterdam to Maastricht. You know then that it can be difficult to maintain your motivation, and many pitfalls lie in wait.
Monthly challenges
To maintain your motivation and avoid pitfalls, we offer the option for monthly challenges in the HealthCoachPlus app. Every month, we set a milestone in a location that is visible and achievable for you. There are various types of challenges that can contribute to your ultimate goal. This makes the long walk much more manageable. Your focus is not directly on Maastricht, but you make stops in Utrecht, Den Bosch, Eindhoven, Helmond, and Venlo.
Which challenge suits you?
In the app, you can find the Challenges section under Plan. There is plenty of choice, ranging from weight loss/gain to the number of exercise repetitions, the amount of calories burned, or kilometers covered. Which challenge will you take on this month? Discuss with your Personal Trainer or make your own choice from the list and challenge yourself to become a better version of yourself!
