Relaxations as of February 25!
We are pleased to announce that we can also lift the final measures. Below is an overview of the relevant relaxations at RWIJK GYM that take effect from February 25.
No more 3G coronavirus access pass from February 25
We are very pleased that the controversial corona access pass (CTB) is being discontinued. This means that, for now, we are saying goodbye to the much-criticized corona access pass (3G) at locations like ours (where there are fewer than 500 people inside). As of yesterday (February 25), we no longer need to check you for the CTB, which in our view removes a significant barrier for many to participate in our indoor training sessions again and enjoy exercising as before.
Mandatory face masks and 1.5-meter distance rules are lifted.
As communicated in our previous newsletter, the face mask mandate and the 1.5-meter distance rule are being lifted, now also in places where the CTB did not apply. These relaxations remain in effect, even now with the discontinuation of the CTB (except on public transport).
Moving forward together: advice for everyone
After nearly two years, we have learned how difficult it is to deal with measures that have so severely restricted our daily lives and work. It is important that we all remain very vigilant and help each other so that we do not infect one another. It therefore remains wise to continue to adhere to the well-known advice if you have symptoms, so that we can demonstrably limit the spread of the virus. What should you keep in mind regarding this? Safety and hygiene for yourself, fellow athletes, and trainers; fortunately, RWIJK GYM has done everything possible and invested in a good ventilation system for our indoor spaces.
Long term
Although all coronavirus consultations are currently on 'standby', our industry association NL Actief will continue to engage in dialogue with the government in the coming period to ensure that sports activities remain possible at all times. This may sound abstract, but the government is working on a long-term vision, or in other words, 'what do we do if COVID or another pandemic flares up again'. One of the guiding principles of this is that it must remain possible to continue practicing sports at all times. But more on that later.
We are pleased that we do not have to turn anyone away for any reason whatsoever and are once again allowed and able to offer our full coaching and training as before. Are you looking for a sports location where you receive more personal guidance, not only regarding your sports activities but also on matters such as; power supply, lifestyle, stress management, etc. Then sign up below for an introduction and try-out at RWIJK GYM so that you can come and experience for yourself why others have gone before you!
