A delicious snack “Date Balls“!

The recipe is easy to make and ready in no time. You can use it as a quick, filling snack, but also as a dessert.

Dates fit into a healthy diet power supply. They are a good source of fiber, potassium, and vitamin C. Additionally, you also get good carbohydrates, proteins, fiber, B vitamins, and minerals from the oatmeal. These two ingredients so together we also ensure a healthy snack.

Ingredients for 14 balls

– 120 grams of oatmeal

– 10 fresh dates

– 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour

– 60 grams 100% peanut butter

– 1 tsp cinnamon

– 1 tsp vanilla extract

– 2 squares of dark chocolate

Preparation method:

  • Take a blender and put the oats, whole wheat flour, dates, peanut butter, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in it.
  • Blend until all ingredients are well combined. The batter should stick together well. If this is not the case, you can add a teaspoon of water until the batter is right.
  • Roll the batter into 14 small balls and place them on baking paper.
  • Optional: Melt the chocolate and drizzle it over the balls.
  • Put the balls in the refrigerator for an hour.
