
A delicious snack “Date Balls“!
The recipe is easy to make and ready in no time. You can use it as a quick, filling snack, but also as a dessert.
Dates fit into a healthy diet power supply. They are a good source of fiber, potassium, and vitamin C. Additionally, you also get good carbohydrates, proteins, fiber, B vitamins, and minerals from the oatmeal. These two ingredients so together we also ensure a healthy snack.
Ingredients for 14 balls
– 120 grams of oatmeal
– 10 fresh dates
– 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
– 60 grams 100% peanut butter
– 1 tsp cinnamon
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 2 squares of dark chocolate
Preparation method:
- Take a blender and put the oats, whole wheat flour, dates, peanut butter, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in it.
- Blend until all ingredients are well combined. The batter should stick together well. If this is not the case, you can add a teaspoon of water until the batter is right.
- Roll the batter into 14 small balls and place them on baking paper.
- Optional: Melt the chocolate and drizzle it over the balls.
- Put the balls in the refrigerator for an hour.
