Fit, healthy & full of flavour – perfect for a staycation or when you are abroad!

For people and families from Rijswijk, Delft, Ypenburg, Nootdorp, Wateringen or The Hague For those who love to enjoy good and healthy food and want to stay fit – even during the summer holiday period – we have this perfect BBQ recipe.

Why this recipe?

You want to be able to enjoy yourself on vacation without being shocked by the scales in September or noticing that your smart work trousers, suit, or dress suddenly don't fit as well anymore 😅. This recipe:

✔️ Is high in protein (ideal for maintaining muscle mass)
✔️ Contains plenty of fiber and vitamins (for your energy and digestion)
✔️ Is quick and easy to make – wherever you are at the campsite, holiday home, or just at home
✔️ Tastes delicious and leaves you feeling satisfied and energized

What do you need? (for 2 people)

For the skewers:

  • 2 chicken fillets (approx. 250 g, diced)
  • 1 courgette (sliced)
  • 1 red bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 red onion (in wedges)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce (for a slightly sweet, savory flavor)
  • 1 tsp paprika (or other spices to your taste)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Pinch of salt & pepper
  • Satay skewers (soak in water briefly to prevent burning)

For the yogurt dip:

  • 4 tablespoons low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Fresh or dried mint or chives
  • Pinch of garlic powder, pepper & salt

Optional addition:

  • Whole wheat pitas or wraps
  • Grilled corn on the cob or a nice fresh salad

Here's how to make it:

  1. Marinate the chicken with olive oil, sweet soy sauce, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes (in a bag or container – ideal for camping!).
  2. Thread the chicken, zucchini, bell pepper, and onion onto a skewer. alternating on the skewers.
  3. Grill the skewers Cook on the BBQ for approximately 10–12 minutes. Turn them regularly for a nice grilled color.
  4. Meanwhile, mix the dip: yogurt, lemon juice, herbs and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  5. Serve everything together and bon appétit!

  • Protein: ± 38 g (EN% 41)
  • Carbohydrates: ± 15 g (EN% 16,3)
  • Fat: ± 15 g (EN% 36,5)
  • Fiber: ± 4 g

Tip from the trainer:

The sweet soy sauce gives the chicken a slightly sweet Indonesian touch – perfect for the BBQ!
Prefer vegetarian or with fish? Then replace the chicken with tempeh, halloumi, or a type of fish of your choice – also delicious in this marinade.
