What was initially just a suspicion has now unfortunately become a fact. The fitness industry is also facing the CoronaCheck (QR). And regardless of what we think about it, we must also implement these measures. Fortunately, we could count on the understanding of our members.
Starting November 6th, we will be performing a (QR) Corona Check on everyone entering our facility to train. Fortunately, the House of Representatives later decided that exercising outdoors without a QR check is still permitted. And because we not only completely renovated our indoor location last year but also created an outdoor gym, you can still come and train with us, with or without a QR, and continue working towards your goals.
Because we believe that everyone FIT and VITAL If we need to be able to continue, we are naturally offering alternatives again alongside our normal training and coaching.
Alternatives where no coronavirus check needs to be performed are:
| → | go train outside in our beautiful outdoor gym instead of inside |
| → | 1 on 1 Personal Training. |
| → | Via our private RWIJK GYM FB group, you can follow more than 135 online home workouts (WODs – Core – Stretch and Relax – Boxing workouts and much more). |
| → | We are also offering a personalized training schedule again if the above options are not feasible for you. |

Read the answers to frequently asked questions below:
Making the coronavirus access pass (CTB) mandatory for our athletes
As of November 6, the corona access pass applies to athletes wishing to come and train indoors at our facility. Upon arrival (this applies only to indoor training), we are required to scan everyone's QR code and verify their ID. This applies to everyone visiting our location. Everyone must show their personal QR code *and* a valid ID. If you are unable to do so, we regret that we cannot allow you to participate in the training.
When do you receive a coronavirus access pass?
You will receive a coronavirus entry pass if you are fully vaccinated, have proof of recovery, or have a negative test result no older than 24 hours. Testing remains free for persons who do not have proof of recovery or vaccination.
How do we verify the QR codes?
We verify the QR code via phone.
Do I need to wear a face mask when I come to exercise?
In addition to the measure at the CTB, the government has also decided to make face masks mandatory again in indoor spaces. This does not apply to places where the CTB obligation applies and is therefore NOT applicable to our sports club.
Are there any other guidelines that have come into effect?
It is once again advised to adhere to the basic guidelines (where applicable). Read below what this means.
The basic rules are understood to mean:
| → | Testing if you have symptoms: stay home and get tested at the GGD. Even if you have already been vaccinated. |
| → | If the test is positive: stay home and avoid contact with others, even if they are vaccinated. |
| → | 1.5 meters is a safe distance but is not mandatory, so we can continue to offer all training sessions as we are currently doing. |
| → | Do not shake hands. |
| → | Wash or disinfect your hands when you enter and leave. |
| → | Cough and sneeze into your elbow. |
| → | Ensure sufficient fresh air and ventilation in indoor spaces. (Fortunately, we have had a special ventilation system installed for this in our indoor location.) |
The management and trainer team of RWIJK GYM will once again do everything possible to ensure we make this a success together. Something our members have come to expect from us since the very beginning of the corona pandemic. At times like these, you can experience with us what sets us apart from others as a company!
