Latest update on sports options following press conference on December 18

For those who are still unclear about what is still permitted and possible regarding sports and training under the current coronavirus measures, please see below the setup we are allowed to use. Guideline 1 is that indoor sports are not possible; this is a very clear rule. As of December 19, all training sessions will take place outdoors.

 Outdoor training rules:

Come to our location via the parking deck. Ringing the doorbell is pointless, there is no one inside 😉

– Upon arrival, you can give the trainer your belongings (coat / bag / keys etc.) that you would like us to put inside for you.

– Toilets and changing rooms must be closed, so please take this into account when coming to exercise!

– You will then receive your training materials and artificial grass mat from the trainer (everything must be able to be taken along in one go). At personal training Your own trainer has prepared all of this for you.

– The trainer will then indicate to which location you can go to perform the workout with your training partner. (There are 4 locations, which we will explain further to you upon arrival). With personal training, you train at the location your trainer has reserved for you, where everything for your training is already set up. 

– Upon arrival at the designated location, place the materials down and perform the workout. This is either written out and provided to you on paper, or is already listed in your activity calendar in our Lijfstijl app. This does not apply to people attending a personal training session. 

– During both personal and duo training sessions, a distance of 1.5 meters must be maintained from your trainer or from each other at all times.

– The composition is not changed during training sessions.

– When you are finished with your personal training or duo workout, ask the trainer to pack up your things inside, and head back home feeling satisfied.

This applies only to the duo outdoor training sessions:

From the Municipality of Rijswijk, indicate very clearly that we as trainers NO We are allowed to give group instruction to multiple or all pairs at once! That is why we walk around and come by pair by pair to give directions, answer questions, or just have a friendly chat 😊

It took us a bit more effort this time, but we are pleased with these opportunities to continue exercising with guidance. We can therefore continue to provide you with training during the holidays and in the new year as well. We know from our existing members that they appreciate being able to work with all that enjoying food and drinking during the Christmas holidays, it is nice to be able to compensate for that a little with 1 or more hours of exercise a week 😉
