Unfortunately, the VAT increase on sports, among other things, will be presented in the Budget Memorandum on Budget Day 2024.
Of course, this still needs to be approved during the general debate. But as it looks, they intend to push this through because it will provide the government with an extra 2 billion in revenue per year. That is why it is time for us to make our voices heard en masse, in the hope that we can still change their minds. Because increasing the tax burden on sports is, in our view, not what they should want!
